Katherine Welch

I am an undergraduate researcher in the Wagner Lab pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Ecology, Evolutionary, and Organismal Biology as well as a Bachelor’s in Environmental Studies. Within the lab, I am interested in maize plant-soil ecology and what implications these relationships may have for conservation and agriculture. Outside of my research at KU, I enjoy playing in music ensembles, gardening, painting, and hiking.
