Lauren Higgins

I’m an undergraduate student majoring in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. I currently work in the Integrative Plant Biology Lab at KU and the Reproductive Biology Lab at the University of Kansas Medical Center. My research includes investigating how different bacterial strains affect maize growth, as well as studying the effects of microgravity and galactic cosmic radiation on ovarian follicle development in mice. Outside the lab, I enjoy spending time in nature and creating art.
