Martel Ellis

I’m a Ph.D. aspirant and NSF Graduate Research Fellow studying how variation in plant traits, especially in roots and shoots, shapes microbiome assembly in the rhizosphere. I am originally from Michigan and when not doing research I enjoy video games, sports, community service, and spending time with my family.
